World Bank Group AgriConnect – Business Opportunities Seminar
- Agribusiness & Agritech
- Belgium
Are you a Brussels-based company active in agri-tech, irrigation, food processing, food logistics or sustainable agriculture? Join this exclusive business outreach event and discover how the World Bank Group’s AgriConnect initiative is creating new procurement, partnership and investment opportunities across emerging markets.
About
hub.brussels, together with FIT, AWEX, FPS Finance and the World Bank Group, invites Brussels-based companies and organisations to discover AgriConnect, an ambitious initiative designed to transform agriculture, strengthen food security and create jobs across low- and middle-income countries.
Launched in 2025, AgriConnect aims to reach up to 300 million farmers by 2030 through large-scale investment programmes and country-level partnerships. The initiative is generating concrete opportunities for businesses active across agricultural value chains, including agri-tech, irrigation, infrastructure, food processing, food logistics and sustainable agriculture.
This event will provide Brussels-based businesses with valuable insights into upcoming World Bank Group-supported projects and practical information on how to engage through procurement, implementation partnerships and private-sector investments.
Participants will also learn how to work with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), which support private-sector projects in emerging markets through financing and risk mitigation solutions.
The session will conclude with networking opportunities and one-to-one discussions with World Bank Group representatives.
