Strategically located in the cradle of Southeast Asia, Vietnam’s advantageous geographic location gives convenient access to commodities and cultural exchange. In a region of the world where some countries remain vulnerable to political and economic instability, Vietnam has benefited from its stable government and social structure.

Vietnam remains one of the fastest growing Asian economies with high GDP growth in recent years, driven by free trade agreements (FTAs) with major developed countries, increasingly deregulated business environment and based on the power of foreign direct investment (FDI) and the private sector. In 2018, the country’s GDP expanded by 7.08%- the highest growth rate since 2008. Services sector accounts for 41% of the total GDP then Industry & construction of 33% and Agriculture, forestry and fishery of 16%.
