About this event

SIAL takes place every two years and is the food fair you don’t want to miss. In 2022, 265,000 trade visitors packed the 250,000 m² of the trade show to discover the 7,000 exhibitors from 127 countries. The 2024 event will have a special flavour as SIAL celebrates its 60th anniversary!

Exhibiting at SIAL offers the opportunity to showcase your products to the industry’s top players: distributors, importers and international buyers. Join us on the Brussels pavilion and give your key products the visibility they deserve!

Practical info

The show runs for five days, from Saturday 19 to Wednesday 23 October inclusive, from 10am to 6.30pm at the Parc des Expositions de Paris-Nord Villepinte.

hub.brussels will be in Hall 5A, dedicated to Fine Foods, with a 77 m² pavilion that can accommodate ten Brussels-based companies. Inside the pavilion, each company will have its own individual space, equipped with furniture and branded with its visuals and logos.

Registration

Any company wanting to take part in SIAL must register online and provide the information requested on the form.  Please note that registering via our form does not guarantee you a place on our stand. A ranking will be created based on the selection criteria below. You will then receive an email at the end of the registration period to inform you of your position.

Selection criteria

  • Production in Brussels
  • Production in Belgium outside Brussels
  • Employment of low-skilled people (10% of payroll)
  • Use of sheltered workshops in Brussels
  • Micro-business (fewer than 10 FTEs and annual sales under €2,000,000)
  • Small business (fewer than 50 FTEs and annual sales under €10,000,000)
  • Start-up (registered with the CBE for under four years)
  • Previous presence at the show
  • 10% or more of turnover from exports
  • Between 5 and 10% of turnover from exports
  • Raw materials from Belgium

Participation fees

The participation fees payable to hub.brussels are:

  • €400 inc. VAT for start-ups (registered with the CBE for less than 4 years) and VSEs (fewer than 10 FTEs, turnover less than €2,000,000)
  • €800 inc. VAT for SMEs (between 11 and 50 FTE, turnover between €2,000,001 and €50,000,000)
  • €1,600 inc. VAT for others (more than 50 FTEs, turnover higher than €50,000,000)

For the following services:

  • an individual furnished and branded space in the Brussels pavilion
  • admission to the show
  • logistical support throughout the show
  • the hub.brussels Paris office is at the disposal of the selected exhibitors for personalised assistance. The hub.brussels Paris office can be contacted before the show at paris@hub.brussels.

hub.brussels does not cover travel and accommodation expenses.
