Belgian Economic Mission to Brazil

2201/12/24

A Belgian princely mission will be organised in Brazil from 22 November to 1 December under the presidency of Her Royal Highness Princess Astrid. Join hub.brussels’ delegation in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro for an economic program to explore this growing economy.

About

This is a national multisectoral mission organised by the Belgian Foreign Trade Agency in close colaboration with hub.brussels, AWEX, FIT, and the FPS Foreign Affairs.

Brazil, the largest country in Latin America, is currently the 9th largest economy in the world with over 200 million inhabitants. Much more than an emerging power, it is now an essential partner in terms of agricultural products, minerals, or renewable energies. With a notable return to the international stage, Brazil presents significant opportunities for Belgian companies, particularly with the ambitious investment and ecological transformation plans outlined by the government.

On the agenda are meetings and official receptions with local communities and authorities, company visits, sector-specific seminars, as well as informational sessions and networking.

Simultaneously, our economic and commercial advisor on site will help companies establish potential contacts in Brazil. Participating companies will be invited to communicate their information and requirements in advance.
