MedTech Accelerator 2024: the results
This year once again, hub.brussels and its lifetech.brussels cluster fully committed themselves to supporting innovative ideas in the medical technologies sector. For six months, a group of emerging startups was coached and guided in order to transform their concept into a concrete solution. The culmination of the programme, on 10 October, was a pitch session before a jury during which Breeze Medical and Fluent Robotics were singled out, one with the jury statuette and the other with the audience award.
Through their participation in the MedTech Accelerator programme, young companies reduce the risks relating to technological development and market launch. The programme helps them to meet the challenges of strict regulations, clinical validation and financing. The accelerator also provides practical advice on defining market needs and structuring teams, which considerably increases the prospects for success. With over 20 workshops and personalised coaching sessions, the participants receive the tools necessary to transform their concept into a successful innovation that is ready for market.
