Using technology for more sustainable cities

Are you working on a project or a break through solution that could help cities increase their resilience—or even meet their climate neutrality goals? Are you looking for a partnership to further develop—or even improve—your technology? Let us help you find your next international business partner and promote your project to a panel of investors! The new edition of “Tech4smartcities” is here—join us online on June 17th from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Innovative tech solutions play a key role in the evolution of a city towards more sustainable ecosystems. Behind this major purpose, there are multiple business opportunities and the possibility to build a fruitful cooperation in many different areas, such as energetic performance, smart urban mobility, sustainable construction, circular economy or even numeric transformation.

With such complex challenges, we have prepared a special “four-in-one” event day: a great opportunity to learn and meet some potential business partners (financial, technical, research, etc.).

What’s on the agenda? Inspiration and collaboration

Throughout the whole day, you can join our “B2B matchmaking” activities: a total of 16 networking sessions of 30 minutes each, organized according to availability, interests and objectives of each participant. The aim is to identify potential partners for a technological or research-focused cooperation.

In addition, some other activities will top up the programme:

  • Pitch session—10:30-12:30

Six companies will be selected to present their innovation project to a panel of potential investors, amongst which we’ll have SolifinStartups.be & Scale-Ups.eu, the EBAN network and finance&invest.brussels.

Want to run for a chance to pitch your project? Submit your pitch idea by May 28th 2021 at noon!

  • Themed Webinar on the “Horizon Europe” programme—12:25-13:25

Here you will be able to access all the information concerning funding opportunities related to the European programme Horizon Europe, which aims at stimulating research and innovation between 2021 and 2027. A presentation by NCP.brussels.

  • Themed Webinars on three key subjects, hosted by our experts from Entreprise Europe Network Brussels(EEB).
    • The mobility—9:00-10:00
    • The digitalization—14:00-15: 00
