Seminar – Brussels craftsmanship: local roots, global ambitions

20/05/25

Brussels craftsmanship has long caught the eye beyond our borders. But how do you turn a locally rooted craft into a sustainable international business? As part of the Brussels Exporters Day, this seminar offers you an inspiring dive into the world of exportable craft, with expert legal tips and real-life entrepreneurial stories. Join us on May 20 from 9:00 AM!

About

A lawyer specialised in international trade law will walk you through what you need to know to start exporting your craft creations with confidence: regulations, customs, contracts, certifications… You’ll leave with a solid foundation to grow beyond borders. Then, you’ll hear from two Brussels-based entrepreneurs who’ve successfully taken their craft global: Rish Kombucha and Inner Design.

Program

9:00 AM – Welcome & breakfast
9:30 AM – Introduction & keynote by Luca Roscini, Partner at Andersen, expert in commercial and economic law
10:00 AM – Roundtable: two Brussels crafters going global

  • Quentin Taymans from Inner Design: a studio for high-end objects and interiors that blend tradition and modernity

  • Nouné Muradyan from Rish Kombucha: a bold, Brussels-based brand of artisanal fermented drinks
