Prince mission: next stop China
Does the Chinese market, and its booming growth, pose an opportunity for your business? If so, then it’s good timing because this year our Prince Mission is being held in Beijing and Shanghai from 16 to 23 November! What’s more, we are also inviting you to participate in our “Smart City & Sustainable Building” mission in Shenzhen the week before, from 12 to 16 November.
After Mexico in February, the cities of Beijing and Shanghai will welcome Princess Astrid. In case you need reminding, a Prince Mission serves as a spotlight on your company! In collaboration with the Belgian Foreign Trade Agency, AWEX, FIT and the FPS Foreign Affairs, we will be joining you throughout this week in your search for the ideal partner during this noble mission encompassing multiple sectors.
But before that, what would you say to exploring Shenzhen, better known as the “Chinese Silicon Valley”?
As a bonus, participate in “Smart City & Sustainable Building”
With an overall market of almost 8.5 billion euros in 2018, China has made smart cities its priority. The country is striving to develop clean energy, build new forms of sustainable and environmentally-friendly housing, increase soft mobility and safety, among other things. Chinese companies taking part in these new urban redevelopment projects are on the lookout for foreign partners.
You will visit the China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF), the biggest technology fair in China bringing together all those involved in the Shenzhen technological ecosystem. The Belgian Pavilion will give you the chance to participate in various B2B meetings, organised in collaboration with local partners. You will also be on the guest list for the King’s Feast reception on 15 November.
Don’t miss the Belgian-Chinese meeting forum, where you can swap experiences and good practices on the subject of “Smart City”. Finally, take part in the Smart City Tour and discover key players such as Ping An Smart City, a large Chinese group specialised in finance and technologies and Tencent, founder of the WeChat app.
Tempted ? Register via this form for pre-registration to “Smart City & Sustainable Building” and/or the royal mission by 31 August 2019. First come, first served!
