About

The Foodspecialiteiten professional trade fair has existed for over 30 years and aims to become the largest and most accessible professional event for the specialized food sector in the Netherlands. Each year, the fair inspires thousands of professionals and supports the growth of artisanal and innovative entrepreneurs. Foodspecialiteiten aims to contribute to a sustainable, forward‑looking, and flavorful food industry.

The trade fair is aimed in particular at entrepreneurs, suppliers, and buyers in the fresh and specialty food sector, providing them the opportunity to connect with one another. It also offers a space for inspiration, sharing, and knowledge exchange, and seeks to strengthen expertise within the food industry.

During the 2025 edition, 7,562 visitors discovered the products and innovations of 290 exhibitors.

Registration

Please note that registering through our form does not guarantee you a place at our stand. You will receive a confirmation once the registration period has ended.

Based on the applications, we will decide on the allocation of stand space according to various criteria.

Selection criteria

The selection of Brussels‑based companies exhibiting at the Brussels pavilion will be based on the following criteria:

  • Production in Brussels
  • Production in Belgium outside Brussels
  • Employment of low‑skilled workers (10% of payroll)
  • Use of protected workshops in Brussels
  • Micro‑enterprise (fewer than 10 FTEs and/or annual turnover below €2,000,000)
  • Small enterprise (fewer than 50 FTEs and/or annual turnover below €10,000,000)
  • Start‑up (registered with the BCE for less than 4 years)
  • Previous participation in the fair
  • 10% or more of turnover from exports
  • Between 5% and 10% of turnover from exports
  • Raw materials sourced from Belgium (1 point)

Trade show

Foodspecialiteiten will take place on Monday 14 September and Tuesday 15 September, from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m., at Evenementenhal Gorinchem, Franklinweg 2, 4207 HZ Gorinchem, in the Netherlands.

The Brussels pavilion is located in Hall 6.

Fees

The participation fees listed below include registration for the fair, the raw floor space, stand construction, and presence in the catalogue.

Travel and accommodation costs are the responsibility of exhibitors. Shipping and production costs for promotional and exhibition materials are also your responsibility.

  • €250 excl. VAT for start‑ups (registered with the BCE for less than 4 years) and micro‑enterprises (fewer than 10 FTEs or turnover under €2,000,000)
  • €500 excl. VAT for SMEs (between 11 and 50 FTEs or turnover between €2,000,001 and €50,000,000)
  • €1000 excl. VAT for other companies (more than 50 FTEs or turnover over €50,000,000)

A 30% discount is granted to companies that are members of hub.brussels clusters.
