About
Singapore, a constantly evolving metropolis, places real estate at the heart of its economic growth. As part of its ambitious plans, the country is undertaking major transformations in infrastructure and energy. The mission will focus on several strategic areas:
- Urban redevelopment: Converting industrial zones into mixed-use spaces (residential – retail)
- Port infrastructure: Expansion of the deep-sea port
- Regional mobility: Developing railway links with Malaysia and creating a common economic zone
- Land protection and expansion: Land reclamation to strengthen coastal protection
Sustainable energy: Grid interconnection and energy-saving optimisations
Mission Objectives
hub.brussels offers Brussels-based companies an exclusive opportunity to:
- Meet key decision-makers such as the Energy Market Authority, Singapore Power, Urban Redevelopment Authority, Housing Development Board, and the Ministry of Trade and Industry
- Arrange B2B meetings with leading sector players: electricity providers (SP Services, Tuas Power, Sembcorp Power, Keppel Electric…) and real estate companies (Capitaland, Mapletree, CDL, GuocoLand, etc.)
- Connect with the local and international ecosystem, including sessions with Belgian companies established in Singapore and through the Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (BLCC)
- Take part in field visits to observe flagship projects (ramp-up buildings, Keppel Infrastructure Division, URA, etc.)
- Attend simultaneous events:
- Singapore International Energy Week (SIEW), plateforme mondiale pour les professionnels de l’énergie,
- Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH), salon phare de l’innovation et de l’entrepreneuriat en Asie-Pacifique;
- Enjoy a high-level experience, including a reception hosted at the residence of the Belgian Ambassador
