Economic Mission to Senegal and The Gambia
- Multisectors
- Sub-Saharan Africa
Take part in the economic mission to Senegal and The Gambia from 10 to 16 May, organised by hub.brussels, AWEX and FIT. This multi-sectoral mission will lead a Belgian delegation to Dakar and Banjul for B2B and B2G sessions, seminars and visits to sites of interest.
About
Our multi-sectoral mission will focus on five key sectors:
- Port and intermodal logistics
- Pharma and biotech
- Agrifoods
- Renewable energy, water and the environment
- Creative and cultural industries
It follows on from the royal mission to Senegal in May 2023, and remains open to all businesses.
This is a unique opportunity to explore promising markets, develop local partnerships during B2B and B2G sessions, and take part in seminars and business visits, all while enjoying full logistical and organisational support.
Why Senegal and The Gambia?
Enjoying sustained growth, Senegal is positioned as a regional hub thanks to its investments in infrastructure, energy and agriculture. Promising sectors include logistics, renewable energy and cultural industries, offering attractive opportunities for Belgian businesses.
The Gambia, or “the smiling coast of Africa”, provides opportunities in tourism, agribusiness and renewable energy. With a strategically located port in Banjul and an English-speaking environment, the country offers an ideal setting for Belgian businesses to foster exchanges and collaborations.
