Useful resources

Some sectoral opportunities:

  • Healthcare: Qatar emphasizes the modernization of its healthcare system with massive investments in medical technologies and telemedicine as part of its National Vision 2030. This initiative aims to position the country as a regional healthcare hub. Similarly, there is a growing demand for advanced healthcare infrastructure in Kuwait, where the government is upgrading hospitals and supporting public-private partnerships to attract innovative technologies and enhance access to care.
  • Sustainability and Green Energy: The energy transition is a key priority. Qatar is investing in large-scale solar projects and developing resource management initiatives, particularly in water conservation. These efforts align with its goal to diversify the economy while reducing its carbon footprint. Similarly, Kuwait, through its New Kuwait Vision 2035, incorporates sustainability initiatives into infrastructure projects and eco-friendly cities like South Saad Al Abdullah City, emphasizing green solutions in waste management and solar energy.
  • Smart Building and Smart Cities: In Qatar, landmark projects such as Lusail City showcase the integration of advanced technologies in urban transportation and connected buildings, strengthening the concept of smart cities. Meanwhile, Kuwait is developing new urban centers equipped with smart buildings and IoT solutions to meet the needs of a growing population and modernize its urban infrastructure.
