B2B matchmaking for the Muntstroom project

Does your company specialize in big data or IT services? If so, then this could be something for you: Muntstroom is a test project for tracking, analyzing and processing pedestrian flows in and around the capital. If interested, you can compete for a tender from the Brussels-Capital Region. By attending our online matchmaking event, you can seek out partnerships in order to submit an application together. This B2B matchmaking event takes place on May 4, from 1 to 5 pm.

Muntstroom is an initiative of MIVB/STIB, CIBG, parking.brussels en Brussel Mobiliteit. The objective of the project: to develop a system for automatically counting, tracking and streamlining pedestrian flows – in public spaces and public buildings.

The ultimate goal is to encourage people to travel on foot more often. Also key is to improve complementarity with other mobility solutions, to manage large pedestrian flows, etc. This data should then serve as a basis for drafting emergency plans or evaluating events.

Goal of the project: testing and fine-tuning

Muntstroom takes place on the Muntplein, in the heart of Brussels, as a living lab test environment for the project. There you’ll work together with other partners, to map visitor and pedestrian flows.

Is your company strong in systems for tracking, measuring and analyzing big data? Then this unique matchmaking event is definitely for you!

Attention: participation is free of charge but registration is required
