3 workshops for reinventing the hospitality sector
As the tourism, events and culture sectors have been hit the hardest by the Corona crisis, hospitality.brussels is offering a complimentary package of 3 online workshops to help these sectors get back to thriving again. Led by the experts of EcoRes, these sessions will teach you creative ideas, strategies and solutions that can be immediately applied for positive results. These 3 interactive, complementary workshops will take place on Thursdays – May 6, May 20 and June 3, from 9am to 12pm.
For over a year, the coronavirus pandemic has shaken the entire planet. Travel restrictions, lockdowns, event cancellations, bankruptcies… with the hospitality industry taking the biggest blows. Many companies involved with tourism, events and culture have been forced to put their activities on hold until the guidelines are relaxed. Many employees and managers are struggling with this long-term freeze in their beloved sector. But is there anything that can be done?
Yes, because out of adversity comes opportunity. It is only a matter of uncovering these opportunities. A crisis like this also offers time to reflect, to take a new path, or to recreate – all of which is better than inaction.
Reinventing the hospitality sector
Objective: to increase the sustainability and resilience of your company’s business model or plan within the hospitality sector. To help you achieve this, we invite you to participate in this online workshop series. The webinar series focuses on:
- Better understanding of the impact of the crisis (local and global)
- Identifying both risks and new opportunities within the sector
- Mapping your company’s resilience
- Providing new tools and ways of thinking, to successfully adjust your current business model
A comprehensive program, spread over three sessions:
1. State of affairs and challenges for the hospitality sector – Thursday 06/05/2021 (9am to 12pm)
What are the consequences of the crisis for the tourism, events and culture sectors? What are the current and future challenges? What support measures are in place to increase company resilience?
Research and field surveys provide more insight as well as food for thought regarding the organization of the hospitality industry – in short, medium and long term.
2. Resilience and change, what can we do? – Thursday 20/05/2021 (9am to 12pm)
During this session we will get to know the Resilience Coaching Tool extensively. This is a method inspired by strategies from nature (biomimicry), to build resilient business models that are more resistant to external shocks.
There will also be an opportunity to discuss your ideas or future plans for your business, and what exactly you need to achieve your objectives.
3. Setting up an action plan – Thursday 03/06/2021 (9am to 12pm)
With help from the experts on hand to offer concrete suggestions, you will create a roadmap or step-by-step plan to make your business more sustainable, flexible and resilient (in crisis situations).
