Coronavirus: impact on your Brussels based company

Further to the precautionary measures taken by the federal government of Belgium to combat the coronavirus epidemic, hub.brussels is doing everything it can to help slow the spread of the virus, while ensuring the continued delivery of its services. Our services can still be accessed, but in different ways as from today, Friday 13 March, and until further notice.

Information for businesses

hub.info, the regional information and guidance service for businesses, is your one-stop source of information about the impact of coronavirus on the Brussels economy and about the assistance available. hub.info, hosted by hub.brussels, coordinates and distributes all the information likely to be helpful for you.  You can access this information via info.hub.brussels or via a telephone call, by dialling 1819. However, the physical Infopoint counter at the Chaussée de Charleroi is not accessible until further notice.

Services for businesses

hub.brussels services can still be accessed by email or telephone. As a general rule, meetings in our premises are likely to be cancelled. If in doubt, please get in touch with your contact person at hub.brussels for more information,  call our switchboard or ask your question using our contact form.

Events

All our events scheduled to take place between now and 3 April are cancelled. We will keep you informed as soon as possible of any rescheduling details. For more information, please go to our Agenda page.

International activities

All our international work is suspended until further notice.

The Brussels-based companies affected by this will be kept informed directly and via our website.

In close collaboration with our Economic and Commercial Attachés in other countries, hub.brussels continues to be at your disposal to answer any questions about specific issues that may interfere with your international projects.

Companies that have already approached international clients are asked to delay their prospecting trip or to focus on other markets. hub.brussels’ networking and prospecting activities will continue via the use of risk-free virtual means and methods; pending the resumption of face-to-face meetings.
