Expo 2020 Dubaï: Build the Belgian pavillon

Would you like to become a partner or supplier of the Belgium Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai? Along with Agoria, AWEX, FIT and governmental agency BelExpo, we would like to invite you to meet with the consortium selected to work on this large-scale project. Meeting at BluePoint Brussels on 4th April from 10am to 2pm.

From 20th October 2020 to 10th April 2021, 190 countries and millions of visitors will gather at Expo 2020 Dubai. The main theme of Expo 2020 is “Connecting minds, creating the future”, which will be supported by three subthemes: Opportunity, mobility and sustainability.

Join the selected consortium and dive into the adventure!

In the context of a public call for tender launched by the Belgian Commission General for International Exhibitions (BelExpo), the construction project will be implemented by BESIX, Assar Architects, Vincent Callebaut Architectures with scenography by Krafthaus.
This consortium is currently seeking to collaborate with as many Belgian companies as possible to make the Belgium Pavilion a reality. Maybe that includes you? Therefore, do not miss the chance to meet these participants and register through Agoria.

10:30: Expo 2020 Dubai – Introduction by Patrick Vercauteren Drubbel, Commissioner General for International Exhibitions
11:00: The Belgium Pavilion for Expo 2020 Dubai by Jeoffrey Migeot, Communication manager for DUBAI 2020 at BESIX and Didier Damseaux, Business Development Manager at BESIX
12:00-2:00pm Networking lunch

If you do not attend and do not cancel your registration, your company will be invoiced €125 (not including VAT, per person). (A colleague may attend in your place).

– Belgian materials, products, applications and techniques visible both inside and outside the pavilion.
– Produces more energy than it consumes (environmentally friendly)
– Reflects the concept of designing intelligent towns, focused on people and biodiversity
– New technologies will contribute to improving its accessibility (both in terms of mobility as well as visual accessibility)
